Use cases
Mention monitoring for developer tools and open-source projects
Developers talk about tools on Hacker News, Reddit, Bluesky, YouTube and in blog posts, not on Instagram. EchoMention covers exactly those places and delivers mentions to the Discord or Slack your maintainers already use.

Why it fits developer audiences
Beat the noise of generic names
Project names are often ordinary words. Add the repository path (e.g. org/project), the package name and the domain as terms, and exclude the common meanings. The matcher checks whole words, so short names do not match inside longer words.

Frequently asked questions
Can I monitor GitHub issues or stars?
No. EchoMention monitors mentions on the sources above, not activity inside GitHub.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan monitors 1 keyword on Google News and Hacker News and sends a weekly e-mail digest, with 7 days of history. No credit card is needed. Pro ($19/month) adds every source, a daily digest and Slack, Discord and Telegram delivery.
How does Reddit monitoring work?
Through the Web search source (Pro and Business): EchoMention queries the Brave Search index with site:reddit.com, so it does not depend on Reddit's API, which Reddit is closing by March 2027. New threads usually appear once the index has picked them up, typically within a day, so it is not real-time.
Do you need access to my accounts?
No. EchoMention reads only public content. You connect where the digest goes: a Slack or Discord webhook, a Telegram chat or an e-mail address.
