How it works
- Paste feed URLs (http or https) into the RSS source; private and local addresses are refused.
- Every new item is matched against your keywords' terms and exclusions.
- Matches go to the digest with a sentiment score and a link to the original post.
Feeds worth adding
- Competitors' blogs and changelogs, to track launches and pricing changes.
- Lobsters, Dev.to tags or Substack newsletters in your niche.
- Local or trade publications that Google News covers poorly.
Finding a site's feed
Most blogs publish a feed at /feed, /rss or /atom.xml; WordPress sites use /feed/, Substack newsletters /feed, and Medium publications medium.com/feed/<publication>. Many changelogs link their feed in the page footer. If a site has no feed, add it to the Web search source as a hostname instead, and EchoMention will find its pages through the Brave Search index.
Why filter feeds by keyword
A feed reader shows every post, and a busy publication can publish dozens a day. EchoMention keeps only the posts that name your product, your competitors or your category, removes duplicates across feeds and sources, and puts them in the same digest as your Hacker News, Bluesky and news mentions. You read one short message instead of ten feeds.

Frequently asked questions
Which plan includes RSS feeds?
Pro ($19/month) and Business ($39/month).
Do I get every item from the feed?
No, only items that match one of your keywords. That is the point: the digest stays short.
Can I add Atom feeds?
Yes, RSS and Atom feeds both work.
Do you need access to my accounts?
No. EchoMention reads only public content. You connect where the digest goes: a Slack or Discord webhook, a Telegram chat or an e-mail address.
